Reproduction of the work coveralls issued to members of the Women's Army Auxiliary Corps (WAAC) during WWII. Made from the same herringbone twill cotton as the fatigue uniform, these feature a baggy cut, hip pockets, ankle adjustments, waist belt and, um, rear exit door. (The coveralls need not be removed in order to use the latrine.)
Color: The only color I have encountered these in was OD No. 8, commonly referred to as "light shade". Considering I've only seen 3 or 4 originals, it's likely they were made in OD7 as well.
Fit: Big, baggy, & frumpy.
Sizing/ the headache: The model in the photo is wearing a size L coverall. She's 5'3", and her measures are 38-27-38.
-These are sized by chest measure (around the widest part, including breasts).
-Hips are 6 inches larger than the largest chest measure shown for the size.
Example: Size L (37-40 chest) = 40" + 6" = 46" hips.
Inseam is 29", and shrinks about 1" when washed.
Imported.
