Original "M40" Greatcoat with Gebirgs insignia. This one has moderate wear with only a couple of moth nips and a small darning repair on the rear of the skirt. Insignia is original, but whether it's "original to the coat" I cannot be sure. It appears to have less wear than the garment so, if I had to stake my life on it, I'd say it was added.
Dated 1941.
The size is a metric 94 chest, 41 torso length, which equates to a 36 Short. If you're "tree fity" there's exactly no way in hell this will fit. This is for a guy who's about 5'6" and 140 pounds.
