Product Description
Mint condition, early M1943 Field Jacket. This one is a 370C from the November 1943 contract making it from the second production batch ever made. There is no wear anywhere on it, it still retains some of its sheen and one cutter tag remains on the lower right sleeve.
The lining is the olive drab no. 2 poplin left over from M41 Jacket production.
It was apparently still in the government inventory for some time after WWII as the size stamp in the neck has been struck through and "M L" for medium long stamped below it and buttons have been added inside for the later type liner. These buttons are sewn with a machine indicating it was a factory job.
