German WWII field gray wool "M43" Keilhosen. In late 1942 or early 1943, the German Army introduced a new model of wool trouser for their troops. The new style had tapered ankles for easier fitting with low boots and leggings, belt loops, a flap for the watch pocket and a large reinforced seat to increase durability. The Luftwaffe and Waffen SS followed suit with their own versions of these trousers.
ATF Reproductions: Our trousers are identical in cut, pattern and design to those from WWII. Years ago when we still made these in the USA, we created new patterns using several authentic pairs of M43 trousers. These new trousers utilize these same patterns which we provided to the overseas contractor. They feature fieldgray 80/ 20 wool cloth with 100% cotton twill lining, exact reproduction buttons, and slides, adjustable waist, belt loops, suspender buttons, high rise design, tapered ankles with ties & stirrups, full seat for freedom of movement and correct size stamps
Sizing: These have adjustment straps on the hips, allowing the waist to be loosened or tightened. The size scale is very similar to American BDU trousers. All inseams are 32".
Care: Dry Clean only!
