Product Description
This is the initial design that replaced the "1st Pattern" pre-War eagle. This style appeared in 1938 or 39 and was used throughout the War on tunics and greatcoats. The wings and embroidery a slightly slimmer than those on the more common, later variations of the 2nd Pattern eagles. The Hammerheads are considered more appropriate on M36-M40 uniforms by purists.
