Reproduction of the mid-War style MP40 pouches made by "gyb" (Bauer, Wilhelm, Friedrich, G.m.b.H., Lederwarenfabrik, Offenbach a. M.). Made from a light olive shade 100% cotton canvas, assembled with cotton thread and hand sewn leather fittings. As with all of our MP pouches, we made the pattern for these from our originals and provided the design to our overseas contractor. The magazines and loading tool fit properly in the pockets, the flaps are the correct length and wide, and they are properly marked. (On the tip of one strap on each pouch).

Which variant is correct? There is ZERO correlation between the different colors and materials of these pouches and any particular unit of the German Armed forces. These are simply manufacturing variations characteristic of most WWII German equipment.
