Reproduction of the mid-War style MP40 pouches made by Otto Kolberstein, in Landsberg a. W.. Made from heavy, olive colored 100% cotton canvas, assembled with cotton thread and hand sewn brown leather fittings. Marked "Otto Kolberstein, 1942".

	They don't match! It happened and this original pair of Kolbersteins looks very close in wear patterns and likely came together.

Like all of our MP pouches, I created the pattern from my original examples and sent the design to our contractor. Unlike many other reproductions, the mags fit, the proportions of the pouches are correct, and they are properly marked.

Which style is correct? There is absolutely no connection between the various manufacturing variations of MP40 pouches (or most other gear) and what units they were used by. None. Green pouches aren't for Spring campaigns, brown leather doesn't mean "Southern Front" nor are gray pouches for SS issue. That sort of information is strictly BS.
