Recreations variant of MP40 pouches made by Gustav Rheinhardt, Lederwarenfabrick, Berlin. Made from fieldgray colored 100% cotton canvas, assembled with cotton thread and hand sewn brown leather fittings. Marked "jsd 1943".

All of our MP magazine pouches are made using patterns I designed from my authentic examples that we then sent our contractor. In contrast to most other reproductions, the dimensions and proportions of our pouches are correct, they're correctly marked and the magazines and loader actually fit as they should.

Which pattern is correct? There is absolutely no connection between the various manufacturing variations of MP40 pouches (or most other gear) and what units they were used by. None. Green pouches aren't for Spring campaigns, brown leather doesn't mean "Southern Front" nor are gray pouches for SS issue. That sort of information is strictly BS.
