Small pack introduced in 1944 to replace the the A-frame & Bag system. Basically a modified Artillery rucksack, these were designed to attach to the Y-straps, and had two equipment straps attached to the front of the bag to carry the Zeltbahn. Our reproductions are made exactly like the originals, with all components correctly recreated- olive linen canvas, zinc plates grommets, with hand stitched straps and reinforcements.

This pack may also be attached to the D-rings on top of the M31 Rucksack to provide additional carrying capacity.

Their capacity is greater than they appear- the "stuffed" pack in the photos contains one US tanker and two M41 field jackets- and it could still hold a bit more.
