Product Description

In 1943, a web sling was introduced as a replacement for the leather M1907 sling. They were cheaper, simpler to use and could be adjusted more quickly. Length is adjusted via a simple slide and then locked in place by a compression fitting. Made from OD no. 3 shade cotton webbing, with correct WWII pattern hardware. Our reproductions are assembled here in the USA in our shop. They are approximately 48" long when fully opened.

Color note: Our webbing is the same color as original WWII material: US Government olive drab shade number 3. This is a light olive tan- not beige. Collectors refer to it as "khaki" simply to differentiate it from the darker green olive drab no. 7 used at the end of WWII. Many inexperienced enthusiasts get confused over this point.

The slings will fit most weapons with 1.25" or larger sling loops, including Garands, Springfields, Thompsons, BAR's and M3 "Grease Guns".
