These helmets and liners are NOT new!

We cannot guarantee these to be free of dings, small cracks, scratches, or a rough spots.
All U.S. helmets are assembled using military surplus steel pots and liners. Most are 40-60 years old. Most are not mint, flawless, stored in a shock-proof-vault-just-for-u. Although we repaint and refurbish them, some evidence of their past use or wear is likely. If you live in a perfect blemish-free militaria fantasyland, these will hurt your little feelings. They are in good to very good shape, but not 110% flawless. If you aren't prepared for such a situation, then you'll have to wait for the reproductions. We should have them by June of 2022.

US Helmet "Sizes"

Unlike German helmets and modern day Kevlars, the M-1 M-1C and M-2 helmets and liners come in only one size. The sweatband in the liner adjusts to fit your head via a slide buckle like some baseball caps. Thus, one size fits all. If you get a helmet and it's too tight, you simply need to adjust the sweatband. It's very, very simple.

Detail on "D"-bale

M-2 Paratrooper Helmet, Reproduction
Commonly known as the "D"-Bale helmets. These are the "original" paratrooper helmet used from the creation of the paratroops and later replaced by the M-1C. Most US paratroopers had this style helmet until the Fall of 1944. The M-1C did not become common until the Rhine operations in 1945.
We only manufacture M-2's in WWII Parts configuration. We do not have an Economy version.

Steel Pots: US WWII front seam, fitted with correct "D" chinstrap bales, and new khaki paratrooper chinstraps. Then they are refinished in the correct dark olive drab lusterless color.
Liners: US manufacture, refurbished with new khaki HBT webbing, A-yokes, nape straps, chincup, sweatband and liner chinstrap. Liners will be WWII Westinghouse manufacture. No Inlands available.

$275.00
add repro helmet net:
$10.00

Caution!  These bales are attached just like originals, thus they are susceptible to breakage if handled roughly.  Do NOT use the helmet as a chair!

WWII D-Bales? Same price as our repros? Sure! We have a crate of them in the back.
This seems to be the new silly question for the meathead Olympics...

Original M2's exist but they sell for between $6-10,000. Don't have any. Sorry to rain on your parade.
