Gas Brassard
These armbands were made from mustard colored paper that turned pink if it came in contact with chemical agents, thus warning troops to don their gas masks. These were heavily used during the Normandy landings, but were usually discarded within a few days. In photos and newsreels, it appears that these were most commonly worn on the right sleeve. The cloth loop is hooked around the epaulet to hold the brassard in place. These are made from coated paper like originals, by SM who made the ones used in SPR.
$12.00
Note: The coating is specially formulated to only detect original WWII German blister agents made between 1942 & 1944. It won't work with the LP from your stove...
Psych.

Let's just suppsoe these were treated with the original reactive agent- just where in the hell would you go to try it out? You gonna break into the Bluegrass Army Depot and cut open a drum of Sarin to see if they work? Numbnuts...

Lightweight Gas
Mask Bag

All internal details
accurately reproduced.

Leg strap and 2 position
shoulder strap.

Lightweight Gas Mask Bag
Bag used to carry the M4 Gas Mask. Our bags are made exactly like the originals- 100% cotton canvas in od#3, Chemical Corps stencils, drain grommet in the bottom, felt pads to protect the mask lenses, 3 pockets for the spare lenses, gas sheet and repair kit, loops to hold the filter canister and anti-tinting stick, and leg strap. The shoulder strap is designed with an extra snap hook and slide to allow the bag to be carried comfortably in different positions depending on whether or not the mask was in use. That said- we are still a bit unsure of the precise means to rig the thing with the extra hardware....someone has the solution, let us know.

Note on actual combat use:
Many soldier's simply "lost" the gas mask, cut off the leg strap and used the bag for carrying miscellaneous "junk". They are a perfect size to carry on your side- smaller than a musette bag and bigger than a German breadbag.
Approx. Size: 12" x 10" x 5"
$50.00
Does NOT include gas mask, filter or any mask accessories.

Transitional Lightweight Gas Mask Bag
Same as above, but the front of the bag is made from od#7 canvas- but the rear, sides and interior are od#3. Ewwwww!
So, for those of you with the two-tone fetish...we've got your fix. (Yes, they made them like this is the real War. Yes, I'm 100% cross my heart and hope to get hit by a bus positive.)
$50.00

Gas Mask Bag, M1
Original od#3 U.S. Gas mask carriers for the M1A1 issue training gas masks of W.W. II. Due to a shortage of the M1A2 and M2 service gas masks, the M1A1 was issued in the early in the ETO as a substitute and was favored by airborne troops due to its smaller size. (Bag only.) These are all WWII issue; condition is good to very good, all show some use but are totally serviceable.

$15.00

Individual Protective Cover
Equivalent to the German gas sheets. Unfolded, they look like a giant green condom with a clear tip. Designed as an anti-gas blanket of sorts. Unissued, original US military issue. Some are May 1945 dated, others have no date. Otherwise identical, no date choice.
