Roughout Service Shoe:
Known by the Quartermaster as "Service Shoe, Reverse Uppers".
We have used the more colloquial name for easier identification. These
are made with flesh out leather (like Boondockers and Buckle Boots)
for better water repellancy, rubber soles and no toe cap. They were
to be issued overseas only. For field use, this was worn with the M1938
Leggings. Our boots are made correctly with no
internal toe cap*, brown eyelets, and correct tread pattern. These are
manufactured for us directly from the factory. They are not sold by
any other vendor.
Imported.

2 Pair of US Reproduction Boots
$195.00
Save $20-$50
Price is good for any two pairs of reproduction US boots.
Two pair of Combat Service Boots, or one pair of Jump Boots with one
pair of Combat Service Boots and so forth.
*We have had several people fuss because there is no "reinforcement"
in the toe. Sorry to inform you, that that's how the originals were
made. A toe cap (internal or external) is wrong. Go check some originals
if you think I'm lying.
Treatment: We
recommend that all of our boots be treated with dubbing, Snoseal, mink
oil or similar product before field use. Original dubbing is still
available on ebay or some surplus stores. A 4 oz. can runs $4-$8 at
last check.
Fit: These are patterned from an original WWII Boot which run a
half size larger than modern ones. Thus, if you wear a half size, order
down, not up. For example, if you wear a 10.5, order a 10.
Width: Although they are marked "D", all of our boots
are made on an "E" (wide) last. If you have extra narrow feet,
an insole and thicker socks may work. For extra wide feet you can try
going up a size. Most people have honestly been able to find something
that fits. There have been far fewer problems with this sizing than
I had anticipated.

Returns: Used boots are not returnable, except in cases of product failure.
(Sole falls off, eyelets out, etc). Try them on in the house and walk
around the living room and be sure they fit before polishing,
sealing or wearing them in the field.
Squeaks: Some of these boots squeak when new. For the uninitiated,
that's not a diabolical plan on our part to alert German snipers to
your presence. It's a fact of life with leather boots
and shoes. It will normally work itself out as they break in. My Corcorans
squeaked when I first got them in the Army. (The real Army...) If
your boots have not been worn, you may return them. If the boots are
worn, a squeak is not a defect warranting replacement. It's not a
defect. It's leather. Someday we'll see about getting custom-made-squeak-free
vinyl boots made...
Loose Eyelets: We have had several boots lose one or more eyelets.
It appears that on one run, the dies were not adjusted properly at
the factory and some are improperly set. We have spare eyelets to
match. We can send them to you or you may send us the boots and we'll
fix them. If you are overseas, please contact us first as the shipping
back and forth exceeds the cost of the boots. We will not reimburse
international shipping.
