German Pebbled Button Controversy

Many people get very confused over these buttons. There were actually 3 sizes early in the War and after the War with the Bundeswehr. There was a smaller, 17mm used for shoulderboards and a larger 21mm used for some overcoats. However, I have rarely seen the 17mm's and 21mm's used on any Wartime uniforms other than some tailor-made officer tunics and private purchase, leather and Allgemeine SS overcoats. The 19mm was used universally on all uniforms. Tunics, Overcoats, Parkas, Anoraks, Fligerblusen, SS Smocks etc, etc. Yes, these were absolutely, 110% correct for wear with the shoulderboards. I have never, ever encountered an EM combat tunic using anything but these. The only variations were the colors (some painted, some plain) and some SS uniforms having solid backs on them instead of dished. That's it.

German Tunic Buttons, Original
WWII issue, 19mm Pebbled buttons for German uniforms. These buttons are all painted, but most do not match one another, so you will have to re-paint them the color of your choice.
Various makers and dates!
We CANNOT pick dates or match up maker marks. Nearly every one is different from the next!
(If you want "matching sets" try our new reproduction buttons.)
Used good to very good condition.

German Tunic Buttons, reproduction
Exact (and we mean EXACT) reproduction of the pebbled 19mm shank buttons used on Tunics, Greatcoats, Parkas, Smocks and numerous other uniforms. You will have a hell of a time trying to tell that they aren't real.

3-Claw Belt Buckle
1 3/4" used on the HBT web belts in DAK, M1944 wool trousers, and Heer Panzer Trousers. Originals are impossible to find, and ours are indistinguishable. 1" Trouser Slide
New buckles, nickel finish, very similar to the slides used on WWII German trousers. This style appeared later in the War and was used alternately with the 2-Claw type above. There was no particular meaning to which was used (i.e.; one was not used just for "Ess-Ess" and another for "Fallshemyager" or any such nonsense).
