Vendors of WWII Militaria

Last Updated: November 10, 2009

Vendors: Listed below are other vendors of WWII related militaria. These links are not paid advertisements. The presence of a link here does not amount to any specific endorsement of these companies or their products.
If you have a problem with an order with any of the companies on this page, please contact that company (not us!) to sort it out. We do not offer a locator service for other vendors who won't answer their email nor do we mediate disputes with other vendors. I don't know where some of you kooks get ideas like this.

We try not to list companies that are habitually known to be in any way disreputable but, since I am not personally familiar all of them, I may miss a scoundrel. This relates to fraudulent business practices, not personality conflicts or you not agreeing with the shade of khaki on their sewing kits. If we have a bona fide crook linked here, let me know and I'll look into it.

As with other links, please let us know if any do not work.

Submissions: Send link requests to contactus@atthefront.com

Relevance: The website must be relevant to WWII reenacting. (Paintball, Civil War, Rev War, Star Trek, Plushie meets, etc, are not WWII.) I do not want to have a page the size of a full set of Encyclopedias with all sorts of crazy crap.

Working Weblinks Only!
If your link doesn't work, for whatever reason (gremlins ate the bill, etc) please do not bother to submit the thing as I will check it before posting it. Link not valid = no link will be posted. If your site is still a dream, a figment of your imagination or in need of being created, don't waste your time or ours trying to have us post a link to nothing. It's amazing how many people send us links for sites that are still a fantasy.

No Banners: They clutter up the page. This is free of charge, neutral territory.

No money. There is no charge. Even if you offer money, no banners, preferences or endorsements will be forthcoming.

Free servers/ pop-ups: If you aren't committed enough to your business to pay a few dollars per month to register your site that's your choice. But if clicking on your link results in my monitor being gang raped by pop ups and I have to play whack-a-mole for 10 minutes trying to get rid of the damned things, it will get trashed. If you actually have a good site, I will tolerate one or two invaders on my monitor, but if you go to the trouble to have a decent site made, you will probably be willing to pay a few bucks to rent space on a server so your customers are not brutalized by unwanted loan offers and ads for penis enlargement when they visit it.

Don't get snotty!
As with other links, these are free and we do them when we get around to it. If you think we should ask "how high?" when you say "Jump", think again. In the past, several characters have gotten very surly when we didn't put their link up in the amount of time they demanded. Pissy demands will not be obeyed. It normally takes a few days to a week for me to update the page. If that's not fast enough for you, please know that my heart truly bleeds with pity.

Link refusal: We reserve full right to refuse to any link submitted. It's my website and we aren't taking money for this. If your site doesn't exist, or it's a mess, or it's irrelevant, we won't bother posting it. Additionally, if you're company has a poor reputation or we (ATF) have had issues with you or your company, it won't get posted. Don't whine.Either get your act together or forget about it. For those of you have have tried to or succeeded in screwing us at any time, don't bother submitting a link. You can guess where it will go.

Vendor Consumer Guide
I strongly urge everyone (especially new customers) to check this website before selecting a vendor. It has customer reviews and links to the majority of WWII vendors. The feedback appears to be pretty indicative of what you can expect from a given vendor. Those vendors I know to be trouble have appropriate feedback. It behooves you to heed it. Feel free to slam or praise us.
